Got to watch the DVD last night at around 3:00 a.m. (I work third shift in a group home; ain’t much to do once the folks are all in bed!)
In the announcement e-mail, Josh opined that BotV was CT’s best work yet. I almost agree in that The Doomsday Machine is still my favorite episode to-date; but BotV runs a pretty close second!
The 1970-era Filipino cast playing 19th century Mexicans, that horrid blackface, those creepy-looking Jesus and Mary statues, the flaming bluescreen behind that brochure-like photo of the Escodero house, and the sketch about Frank’s sponsor eerily telephoning him during filming to chastize him for his "drinking." Hell, what’s not to like?
I understand CT #8 will be The Dynamite Brothers, which I caught live in Boston last month. I eagerly await the DVD release! ("Barney, Wojo and Harris are fighting!")

It was awesome. Gotta say I was a little disappointed by Frankenstein.
This is probably my second favorite after Legacy of Blood. Knocking Doomsday Machine into the third spot.
In the beginning there was pong....

While I’ve enjoyed them all, I have to agree with dethpicable about Legacy o’ Blood. The first time I watched it, I thought: "Wow, that was one weird and creepy mamma-jamma". Upon watching it again (and again… and again) it’s become my favorite, still weird and creepy, but my favorite. I guess you can’t go wrong with booze, incest and ham.
