They’re using wordpress.  Once you loggin there, you can update your profile, change your password, see what the incoming links are to CT, stuff like that.

 Now…how you get an avatar uploaded…

I would just like to say that the page that you get sent back to when you click on the activation link in the email….well.  It’s kinda really…black.  You can’t see the username and password, or the link to the loggin page.

I decided to view the page source and found the links that way, but…that activation page definitly needs some….tweaking…presentation wise and all that.

It’s black text on a black background. I guess it’s supposed to be invisible. The link will show up if you drag and highlight though.

You have to count backwards from twenty, click your heels together, do an obscure dance like Maaterlack McCoy, dress up like a chicken and douse yourself in Chanel no. 9, no. 9, no. 9 and then you’re registered.

It’s really pretty simple.

If you log in and click the profile button near the upper left corner of the gray forum area, you can upload your avatar file there. 50×50, whee! :)

 As you will discover, it’s got to be a 1:1 aspect ratio.

I’m a little confused. I went to sign up, all it asked for was a user name and email. I did that. If I try and sign in, though, it asks for a username, and password, which I never gave. Am I just missing a step?

edit: whoops! didn’t see the "invisible" text. Never mind.

I’m having a rough time with registration. I signed up, I think, but
the activation email never came through (not in the spam quarantine
either). Now I have to wait for my username to become "available" so I
can try again with another email address. Blerg.
